世界展望會在苗栗扶助近2000名清寒弱勢兒少，其中有將近5成是高中以上的大孩子，開學在即，昨天邀請就讀大二的小祥到世展會接受生活扶助金，也呼籲更多愛心人士慷慨響應。
小祥小五時喪父，母親是印尼籍外配，需獨自扶養2兒子，生活不易，開始接受世展會的扶助，透過社福資源進駐，讓小祥母親每逢開學時，經濟上可以短暫鬆口氣。
世展會苗濱中心指出，當孩子念到高中、大學，最是需要用錢的時候，不過因外界對大孩子有較高的期待，認為可以靠打工紓困，因而不易募集到資助人，不過這個年紀的孩子能選擇的打工有限，薪水甚至不見得能夠負擔書籍費，仍盼善心人士慷慨解囊助學。
小祥表示，他很感謝世展會這麼多年來的幫助，在寒暑假也有提供工讀機會，讓受助學子有機會擔任課輔老師，得以付出、回饋所學，幫助邊緣學童享受不用錢的安親班課程。
世展會西區辦事處主任廖健鈞表示，處於經濟弱勢家庭的孩子，生活及教育資源較為匱乏，但唯有透過教育才能部落客推薦徹底轉變孩子們的未來。他籲請愛心人士透過助學行動，定期捐款1000元，讓這群孩子求學之路不再遙遠，更免於失學。
（中央社記者鄭景雯台北11日電）每兩年舉辦一次的「台灣絃樂團小提琴比賽」，今公布優勝得主，青年組第一名陽旻佑、青少年組第一名郭至恩、少年組第一名楊恩雅，18日將在國家演奏廳舉辦「聯合獨奏音樂會」。
曾培育出曾宇謙、林品任、魏靖儀等多位在國際樂壇綻放異采地小提琴家的台灣絃樂團小提琴比賽 (Academy of Taiwan Violin Competition )，已在一月底年假前，在歷經資格賽、連續六天不休的複賽與決賽後，各組優勝的得主們自百位參者中脫穎而出。
各組前三名得主分別為，青年組第一名陽旻佑、第二名陳婉真、第三名王頌元；青少年組第一名郭至恩、第二名楊典霖、第三名蔡雨頻；少年組第一名楊恩雅、第二名陶薰、第三名黃昱凱。
本屆得主們將聯合在2月18日於國家演奏廳舉辦「聯合獨奏音樂會」，與樂團於2月21日在國家音樂廳合作演出「協奏音樂會」，同時在協奏音樂會演出後，頒發總計超過新台幣50萬元的獎金，各組第一名獎金為10萬元整，第二、三名分別為5萬、3萬元整。
台灣絃樂團比賽嚴謹如國際賽式，不僅是國內音樂比賽創舉，突破台灣音樂比賽與考試只演出「三分鐘」的模式，這項比賽從第11屆開始收到來自馬來西亞、香港或美國等跨海選手的報名，台灣絃樂團小提琴比賽在亞洲樂壇也頗具代表性。1060211
